Ryan McCammack

Ryan was raised in godly Christian home where he not only heard the gospel, but was drawn to the feet of the Savior at an early age. After college, he earned a Master of Divinity from Baptist Bible Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary.  For more than a decade, Ryan served in pastoral ministry in the Midwest.  In 2016 God led Ryan along with his wife Tricia and their eight children to Atlanta with a vision for planting a new gospel-centered, disciple-making church.

Eddie Coon
EXECUTIVE Administrative Pastor

Eddie grew up in the south in a Christian home where he found Jesus at the young age of ten. He experienced a call to Gospel ministry as a senior in high school then pursued his education. Eddie received a BBA degree from Belmont University in Nashville and a Master of Arts in Education from Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth Texas. He has served several churches through the past 50 years in just about every ministry position you can think of. He and his wife, Caroline have six grown children. Eddie was excited about the opportunities the recent merger between FBC Avondale Estates and Gospel Hope Church offered and, is anticipating God’s hand of blessing to continue in the future.

TYLER ZIMMERMAN

Tyler grew up a fourth-generation missionary kid. Even though he was raised in a Christian home and knew the gospel it wasn’t until he was 19 years old as a freshman in college at Appalachian Bible College that Jesus not only became Savior but Lord of his life. Earning his degree at Tennessee Temple University and serving over a decade in ministry, he married to his childhood sweetheart, Amanda. They now have 3 children and serve as missions and development director at Gospel Hope Church.

TAISIA GRISSOM

Taisia grew up in a Christian home in the Midwest. Raised by parents, who were believers, she came to know and accept Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Taisia comes to the Gospel Hope team with a plethora of experience in marketing, communications, and external relations. As a member of the Gospel Hope team, Taisia’s desire is to use her gifts and talents to serve and support the spread of the gospel. Taisia, her husband, Daniel, and her son, Isaiah, have been part of the Gospel Hope family since 2019.

BRADY HOLCOMB
technology director

Brady grew up traveling with his father on short trips around the globe, seeing the power and simplicity of telling Bible stories in vastly different cultures. While developing a passion for visual storytelling, he graduated from Florida State University with a BFA in Live-Action Production, during which he met his best-friend (now wife), who is also a creative mind. He’s actively immersed in the Atlanta film industry and enjoys any opportunity to create visual stories with the friends God has brought along the way.

Tricia mccammack
Kids director

Tricia was born into a pastor's home and realized her need for Jesus to be her Savior at an early age. As a young child, she moved with her family to be missionaries in Uruguay, South America, where she spent most of her formative years. Tricia is a graduate of Northland International University with a degree in Biblical Counseling. She and Ryan have been married and in ministry for twenty years and have eight awesome kids. Tricia’s desire in serving at Gospel Hope is to see kids grow in their knowledge and love for Jesus.

Sheryl Haney
Finance Coordinator

Sheryl graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Throughout her career, she has worked in accounting, software design and support, and project management. In 2013, the Lord spoke to Sheryl’s heart about her need for Him, and she became a part of First Baptist of Avondale Estates. Since 2018, Sheryl has been a church staff member and now serves as the Financial Coordinator of Gospel Hope Church. In this position, Sheryl seeks to use her God-given talents and acquired skills to provide the church leadership with the information needed to advance the Gospel.

Ben Canfield

Ben grew up in an evangelists home traveling around America living in a trailer on church parking lots. He served in Life Action Ministries for many years, meeting his wife in the ministry after college. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2008. After getting married to his wife Maria in 2009, they moved to be on staff at a church near Savannah, GA. They remained in ministry there for 12 years, had four children, and now reside in Decatur, GA. Ben is currently a church planter resident at Gospel Hope and is planning to move to Puerto Rico in the Summer of 2024. He will be leading a disciple-making, church planting work in Aguadilla, PR. While at Gospel Hope, Ben is overseeing the worship team ministry. 

Stephen heller

Stephen was brought up in a Christian home and came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. His family moved to the mission field of Uruguay, South America when he was 10 years old. While there, he learned Spanish and developed a love for Hispanic cultures and people. Stephen received his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies at Northland International University and his Master of Divinity at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. Through God’s moving in his life, Stephen moved to the Atlanta area in 2021 to help launch Gospel Hope Español. In August 2023, Stephen stepped into leadership of Gospel Hope’s Spanish speaking congregation. Stephen’s desire is to see the Spanish speakers in this community hear the good news of Jesus in their own language.

Jody was born and raised in Yonkers, NY after her parents relocated to the United States from Kingston, Jamaica. She moved to GA. at the start of middle school. This is where her most vivid memories of being raised in a Christian home were formed. She always heard the Gospel preached and lived out in her home. She believed the Gospel at young age but really began to live out her faith in her college years where she met her husband, Montrel. They have been married for 6 and a half years and have two beautiful children, Nyla and Nolan. 

isaiah Allums
ministry apprentice

Isaiah was raised in a Christian home where he was encouraged to grow in his faith. He received his Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. As a Ministry Apprentice at Gospel Hope, Isaiah is developing his skill as a worship leader and bible teacher. Since his mother passing in 2022, Isaiah has the privilege and responsibility of caring for his little sister and brother.
