Every believer has been appointed and empowered by the Holy Spirit, not with permanent superpowers, but with Spirit-given expressions for specific moments and purposes. The goal is not to choose between the Word and the Spirit, because they are not in conflict. God has placed gifts in every follower of Jesus, and those gifts are meant to be used.
Interdependent | Pastor Ryan McCammack
Every believer has been given a gift by the Holy Spirit, and that gift is meant to be used in community, not kept to oneself. First Corinthians 12 paints a vivid picture of the church as a body where every part is both unique and essential. Two dangerous extremes threaten this design: believing you do not need others, or believing others do not need you. Both attitudes stall the mission of God. No matter how small or unseen your role may feel, Paul calls the weaker parts of the body indispensable. When every member engages their gifts with intention, the church is built up, individuals are renewed, and the name of Jesus reaches further into the world. You are not meant to sit on the bench. The body needs you in the game.
Empowered | Pastor Ryan McCammack
Many Christians believe in the Holy Spirit but struggle to understand what it actually looks like to depend on Him daily. Pastor Ryan remain us of three key truths stand out about what the Holy Spirit does in the life of a believer. He delivers us from the power of sin and darkness, making it possible to look at Jesus and genuinely want Him. He distributes unique spiritual gifts to every believer, not by accident but by His own intentional design. He then deploys those gifts outward, not for personal benefit but for the good of the whole community.
