Every believer has been appointed and empowered by the Holy Spirit, not with permanent superpowers, but with Spirit-given expressions for specific moments and purposes. The goal is not to choose between the Word and the Spirit, because they are not in conflict. God has placed gifts in every follower of Jesus, and those gifts are meant to be used.
